Olga Gorelik, Piano

Hello,

A bit about me

Belorussian-born pianist Olga Gorelik maintains an active international career as a solo and chamber musician, while serving as a devoted mentor to her students. She completed her formal studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) with Paul Schenly, Margarita Shevchenko and Sergei Babayan (BM, MM, and Artist Diploma). Ms. Gorelik has participated in various music festivals, among them Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, Music Academy of the West, and Pianofest in the Hamptons.  Some of the recent career highlights include a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto with the CIM orchestra, an appearance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the WCLV 104.9 Cleveland Classical Radio, collaborative recitals throughout Scotland, UK and the United States, as well as a series of solo outreach concerts in the Greater Cleveland Area. For the past 5 years Ms.Gorelik held a full studio, comprised of pupils ranging from child to adult.  She managed each relationship with a view to particularly inspire an appreciation for and a truer understanding of music, theory, and performance etiquette.  Her students have successfully participated in concerts, MTNA festivals, and auditions for other performances and educational opportunities.

Ms.Gorelik is an active member of the Phoenix Music Teacher’s Association (PMTA) and serves as a co-chair for the PMTA Fall Festival.  This summer she was invited to join the piano and chamber music faculty of the Luzerne Music Center in upstate NY.

In August 2014, Ms.Gorelik relocated to Phoenix, AZ; it is her mission to continue to contribute to the culture of arts here in her new home, to focus on forming a small vibrant studio while performing throughout the community.
